Because if they do, we might not miss the opportunity.
Problem is anyone with half a brain in the region would also see what we are seeing.
Profits.
ALK may not be up to speed with developments but they abound in cash where MAG don't.....
A hint, miners have been knocking on doors after land recently and a critical one is in the wind.
ALK have acquired some land off a mate but it awful hard to get in the region. The historic family on the main Boda deposit will probably never part with theirs.
Which means anything coming up on rich ground is rare and what happens if a competitor beats you to it on your tenement?
I looked at a block out there decades ago and I am still kicking myself for not following through.
