I think the reasoning is pretty simple.
Up until announcing this deal, they A) Didn't have a product that could go to market quickly and B) Didn't have a facility to manufacture anything commercially.
Now they do have the lease on the GMP facility, it's an option.
I don't see why the update is such an issue here? It's an excellent addition and they're been no misleading anyone over the realisation pathways.
A deal isn't done until it's done, there's no announcing the capabilities to commercialise a product unless the licencing/acquisition is complete. Simple.
