My understanding from a long term hold position with VMS, has always been that the Riley mine was intended as a cash cow for other exploration; look at the history of projects that they have embarked on, and as a vehicle to fund the tin / tungsten resource development at Mt Lindsay.
My reading suggests that The Golden Grove VMS deposit potential is truly excellent. We shareholders have waited a long time, but heh...
