Their trial is on-going but they don’t currently use VDT at either JA or Cataby (their only operating mines at the moment) Eneabba you would probably class a bit different to anything else as they rehabilitated over 1.2 million ton of monazite and they are hoping to use VDT to save the work they have already put in to rehab.
Had to do an Iluka induction last week at JA and a little bit comes up about their rehab works.
This will eventually get EPA approval, but I certainly think somethings could have been done a bit better. I also wouldn’t necessarily blame Bruce, but I think something between Preston and VRX slowed this down more than just the EPA back log.
