I agree that people with means may pay but according to some on here the device goes for somewhere between$10000 and $25000USD and that doesn't include the hospital fees and the specialist fees ( it seems to need an oncologist and a gastric surgeon plus anaesthetist and nurses.
Many people may just go with the treatment that is covered.
Otherwise I would think we would be treating many more patients that are paying.
