Does anyone here have any experience on why a consolidation is required to attract strategic partners and are there any examples of companies who consolidated > institutional investor comes in?
MGT mentioned that consolidation gives mgt an attractive capital structure and that it is a requirement from certain institutional investors to consolidate as it minimises the volatility of the SP but what does that actually mean? will consolidation demonstrate our ability to investors that we are able to perform more cap raises to generate funding prior to development? And is there solid evidence that the SP won't be as volatile post consolidation?
all of the recent consolidations on ASX such as HAS, and ao forth have proven that their SP dips even further post consolidation + introduces more volatility on the SP.
