What I like about BID is that they are debt free and have already invested the big capex to get the software platform to a state where it can generate cash and is a tried and proven product with many large international clients. But like you said, as with all tech startups, many years of making a loss.... but appears to be a successful turnaround and if projections are accurate should get in the black soon.

You mentioned +10 years, but I vaguely remember the company being founded 2012 and then listed in 2016? Listed on ASX by way of purchasing a shell company.
Either way, I hope they do well. Aust hasn't got much in the way of manufacturing any more, and resource exports is cyclical, foreign students is uncertain...but hopefully we can develop competitive advantages in the tech sector. If anything I admire the founders for taking the plunge and having a go. The fact that they have been persevering for this long is to me a good sign as well.
