A few points from Mr. Tarrants' ramblings (or is that mumblings) that should be addressed.
- They are not alone in the world of Australian battery recycling and far from "leading".
- To say that the Scheme is to "keep the importers (of batteries) honest" is a real slap in the face for those monetary supporters of the Battery Scheme and an insult. Without importer funding the scheme wouldn't exist.
- They remain evasive of the Scheme payment(s) thus far received. What is the income stream and how is that projected into the future ? Way it seems the Scheme revenue is the major part of the income potential yet doesn't get a detailed mention. So what is that is the big picture ?
- 99 year EPA Licence at Berwick Road. We keep hearing this like it's some kind of wonderful document to print money, not to mention none of us will be around to see the renewal ! So no mention of Laverton Where does that sit in the permitting world ?
- MMD sell of to Tier 1 Mining Companies - now that's a new one - whom and where ??
- Capacity to expand Envirocreek all very well. Different jurisdictions different permitting - overnight don't think so.
- Internationally - "not a great deal of players in this space" says Mr. T !!! Really - wow think he needs to take on just a little education around that subject before mouthing off. Small fish calling the sharks newbies.
- EV - Thought good ol' AG said this was all tied up and recycling was underway now it's on a "trial basis"
- Asked about NiCad market and that one well and truely went through to the keeper. Bit sensitive boys ??
- Lifting capacity of Envirocreek question - "all we need is a warehouse". There ya go. Simple really.
