He really should look at what BLZ did. They simply did a replacement series uniquely offered to expired option holders, nothing to do with FP.

Although i get where he is coming from, as other examples from other companies have done it as part of a larger rights issue, where the new series is released, and then there is the tack on, for expired options replaced at same time.
