Not if the amount is not material that is why Peter van der Made is at pains to point out it is a small number of chips that have been sold.

Again if that small number is distributed across a range of EAP customers (23 according to rayz) and the small engineering firms like Edge Impulse (the ARM engineering eco system has 35 participating firms) then each individual customer purchase even if one of the customers was Ford Motors or Valeo would not be a material transaction and so again does not need to be reported.

8,000 chips divided by 30 sales is roughly 265 chips per order at $5.00 profit a chip is less than $1,500 per customer. We know however that many of these first chips are going into modules for raspberry Pi and USB sticks so each sale will be far less than 265 per customer.

This is so big everyone is trying to stay under the radar and keep their first mover advantage. Brainchip knows what it is doing and it is doing it very well.
