We are delighted to share some fantastic news regarding EQ Resources Limited and our flagship Mt Carbine Tungsten Mine near Cairns, Australia.
As Australia's leading primary tungsten producer, we are making significant strides in our operations, and here's why it matters:
Convertible Notes Fully Converted: We are delighted to announce that investors who held our convertible notes, initially issued in September 2021, have now fully converted them into EQR ordinary shares. This demonstrates their belief in our company and its potential for growth. The notes, totaling $6 million in face value, were a crucial part of our funding strategy for the Mt Carbine Tungsten rebuild.
Strengthening Our Share Register: With this successful conversion, our investors are now becoming a part of our share register, aligning their interests with the growth and success of EQR. Their support has been instrumental in our journey.
Job Creation and Community Impact: EQR's Mt Carbine Operations have a positive impact on the community, providing jobs for more than 90 people and engaging over 30 contractors in mining and services. We are proud to contribute to the local economy.
Tungsten Supply for the World: Our focus remains on building a modern circular mining operation at Mt Carbine to responsibly supply tungsten concentrate to the world. This endeavor aligns with the growing demand for sustainable resources.
Ramp-Up Progress: The notes conversion coincides with our ongoing mine operation ramp-up in partnership with mining contractor Golding. Our daily production record exceeding 11 tonnes of 50% WO3 tungsten concentrate underscores our commitment to meeting our ramp-up schedule.
