Nobody is saying you can't buy equivalent shares cheaper on market pilko. Its the fact that so many are exaggerating how much they save by doing so. 7% saving now is still a good saving if you buy the equivalent shares and options on market so I have no problems if people choose to do so.
When I submitted my application, the price on market was 10.5 for the heads and 4.8 for options. This was 26 cents vs 25.8 cents (a fraction of a percent for 2 shares and one option) yet even then people were harping on how much they were saving.
A few individuals were deliberately misleading upfront and others just accepted is as correct.
All I can say is get your shares on market now as a slight increase in SP will evaporate any saving (or you can take your chances and hope that the market will continue drop). There is time courtesy of their extension.
