hmmm…..can’t agree entirely. While a cgt discount is incredibly valuable, if thought i had a reasonable chance of doubling my money in a 4-6 month timeframe I certainly wouldn’t let that stand in my way. Perhaps one plan is to sell a few, cover cgt liability and a decent percentage of initial capital, then let the rest (say 20% of initial capital) free carry through the drill, would still be a significant increase on success. Have been invested here since day dot and have cgt discount well and truly locked in, but to say anyone “considering buying/selling now is for absolute fools” comes across as a tad naive IMO.
