At the time that Mobil left, the energy market in Africa was completely different. There was no demand for gas. Now the demand is huge. And in between, Zimbabwe wasn't a good country to do business in. It really is all timing. Most unfortunate for Mobil. Most fortunate for IVZ. I think I have previously pointed you to some company webcasts which do explain the history and the current demand quite nicely. If you want me to dig them up again, let me know.
