Yeah I'm getting around $4.2 million based on those numbers. He might have missed a decimal place. Assuming the following:
- Capacity: 12 MW
- Runtime: 24 hours per day (100% uptime)
- Price: $40/kwh
Electricity Revenue = 12 * 24 * 40 * 365 = $4.2 million per year
This is in the same ballpark as what the natural gas would per worth. Assuming the following:
- Gas Consumption per Day: 2.4 mmcf
- Price per mcf: $3 (conservative)
Gas Revenue = 2.4 * 1000 * 3 * 365 = $2.63 million per year
