They should go in to a TH the day before they enter the first reservoir section (200 horizon). The people on the rig looking at the logs will know as soon as they start drilling through the reservoir section if it is good quality rock or not and if it is charged with hydrocarbons or not. IVZ stock shouldn't be tradeable at this time... word spreads pretty quickly from the rig floor... They should come out of the TH to announce the approximate net length of reservoir intercepted, and to say if there were indications of hydrocarbons or not. If no TH as they enter the reservoir section... the market will give it away as it will either have a heavy red or green day with big volume as the news has clearly leaked... seen this many times on ASX stocks that go in to a TH the day after or later in the day that they have started to see big SP volume/movement.
For us, the results of almost each identified horizon/layer is a major price sensitive event... since 1 of our layers is targetting the same or greater amounts of resources that other companies entire well is targetting.
