if the first 2 wells are dusters then the sp will get smashed. But that doesn’t mean the Cabora Bassa is a duster. Look at what’s going on over at the Perth Basin. Plenty of dusters were drilled in the past but now STX and TPD and others are hitting some serious gas all over the basin. The dusters drilled in the past have given Strike the info to be very confident with what’s going on and where the gas is. Caborra Bassa is a big area with potential all over the place. These first 2 well will allow the company to calibrate the geology with the seismic for the first time. Depending on the results of these first wells if the company decides to follow up with a second drilling program I think the chances of success will be better. Lots of variables to know at this stage but it might be worth hanging around instead of crystallising losses. I get the feeling that not many current holders will though.
