why is that obvious?
we could have been working with a buyer for 6 months. until a transaction happens its not only confidential but good business to pursue all avenues of sale such as "marketing" and especially keeping whinging shareholders happy while things progress in the background.
dont count your eggs before they hatch, and dont put your eggs in one basket. basic business.
having a buyer and doing some marketing are not mutually exclusive.
