I also attended.
I got the clear impression that PL6 is the end of platform lots. That the next step is a partner (potential buyer) to develop a fully functioning device. PL7 would only come to be if PL6 fails, and even then Ting said, if the cause of the failure was obvious (manufacturing mistake) it may not matter to a potential partner and potentially proceed to a chip.
It would appear we have gone as far as we can with IMEC.
