without taking steps itd be like saying I want to sell my house without ever listing it... Sure you might sell it off market to someone close enough to know about it being for sale, but you might not. you take a totally unnecessary risk that it takes longer than necessary to sell it.

If they have cracked it and are market leading "first mover advantage" will only last so long... So the PR firm and architect is more demonstration that they are acting in the best interests of the company.
