I think you find that ‘Quartz Poor’ refers to hydrothermal quartz. Most of the pics in the announcement don’t show much, if any hydrothermal quartz, looks more like little wisps of quartz, probably with carbonate and or sericite. There’re not veins from what I can see. Looks like classic magnetite-style IOCG which more often than not is part of big IOCG systems.
The hematite rich zones will be there. Matter of time.
