This was why I was confused when Thacker got permitting before INR. I know they have submitted permitting before INR but I have to ask does any know of a 100% clay extraction project currently in production? I cant think of 1. They are all, to the best of my knowledge Brines / Spodumene ie hardrock or pools.

Its likely that clay will become lowest cost of production going forward with geothermal so they will likely become more prevalent as time goes on but wouldn't you fast track a known process before an experimental/developing one?

While permitting is still a risk for Inr its looking like a lower and lower one as time goes on. COVID is lingering and is still putting dents into the concept of globalisation. Due to its damage to national security in terms of ensuring supply chains for finished products, its likely to help needing a domestic supply source.
