All this does is break the reality, that, with all the delays to date, they have added up and have tipped first production back a few months over to the next year (buying them another ~12 months of delay flexibility during construction to still be operational "in the year we noted in 2024"... Still see this as a week of indecision (think it will likely float around $0.195+-$0.02) until the market can read the DEIS... Any announcement until; DEIS, final EIS, BLM ROD and the JV FID/DOE Loan FID is all noise at best. Another take away is the Oct. ROD, that gives some clarity on the expected lead time between close of the 45 cal. day public comment period (3/6/2024), and release of the final EIS (which should be >30 days prior to ROD), ends up being ~90-120 cal. day gap (say ~40-60days of which could be the internal review based on the internal review time of the DEIS). That would give an idea of the time the BLM expects to need in order to publish the final EIS for internal review before making it public, likely in Sept. This is final confirmation of ROD ~1 year later than what they were aiming for at the start of NEPA. Its still better if price chills at lower levels for a while. At this time the market is expecting it to be ~$0.65 around Nov/Dec (based on current up trend, if it can maintain that up trend for the remainder of the year), funny how it expects it to be the exact Market Cap value the JV valued the company at the time the board indicated FID on the JV would be made... They also took the announcement to break the increased build time form 24months to 24-36months, in line with how the world has trended since 2020, cant get anything on time now...
