As previously announced on 3 December 2015, Falcon has agreed to acquire a 51% of the share capital of Robo 3D via the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Albion 3D Investments Pty Ltd (“Albion 3D”), a holding company, subject to shareholder approval. Held in Las Vegas every year, CES is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow that showcases more than 3,600 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. Last year, it attracted over 170,000 attendees and almost 7,000 media and analysts from over 150 countries. The event has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for more than 40 years – the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. Robo 3D’s site within CES will cover over 37 square metres of floor-space (20 feet x 20 feet), and will showcase four interactive areas covering: Ø LEARN – interactive seminars on the Robo 3D educational curriculum; Ø WORK – demonstrations of Robo 3D in design and business applications; Ø CREATE – where visitors can manipulate digital objects for use in 3D printing; and Ø PLAY – where visitors can have fun by creating projects and toys using Robo 3D.
Robo 3D will use CES as an opportunity to reveal to the world for the first time a number of new and exciting product innovations that will be launched throughout 2016. Most notably, Robo 3D will announce a number of additional 3D printer models to complement the existing R1+ 3D printer. These new product releases will allow Robo 3D to offer an expanded range of products across different price points, thus enhancing its ability to appeal to a wider range of end consumers, from beginners right through to “prosumer” markets. Importantly, this will provide Robo 3D with the opportunity to deliver an entry point product into the mass market. Brighsun New Energy Bus With 1,000 km (600 miles) Range?

Brighsun New Energy – Melbourne to Sydney on a single charge?
Brighsun Avass Touring Coach in Sydney Saturday 31st October 2015
Brighsun New Energy, one of the many Chinese companiesengaged in the manufacturing of electric buses, stated an unbelievable record of 1,004 km (623 miles) covered on a single charge by a prototype Brighsun Avass Touring Coach from Melbourne to Sydney in Australia.
If that’s true (we are struggling to find more data), that would be twice the range of any other EV bus record (even considering potential low-speed driving).
Brighsun New Energy’s could be using some range-extending tricks in the prototype that would not be found in real-world use (or production buses), so we are cautious about the 1,000 km range bus, as well as 1-hour fast charge.
On the other hand, One Step Off The Grid said that the 1,004 km range is officially certified: “The launch, held at Yuroke, one hour north of Melbourne’s CBD, by Australia-based company Brighsun, showcased a total of four prototype full electric buses ranging from high range capacity route service passenger buses to touring coaches.
Federal environment minister Greg Hunt attended the launch, and confirmed that the bus was officially certified, to international standards, to drive a huge 1004km on one charge.”
“The buses run on a high performance lithium-ion battery combined with proprietary eMotor, battery management and a regenerative braking system.
Brighsun CEO Allen Saylav, also a director of the Society of Society of Automotive Engineers Australasia (SAE), said the technology behind the bus – in development for four years – had evolved from a desire to deliver clean, sustainable public transport options.”Source: One Step Off The Grid via EV Obsessionaustralia, Brighsun New Energy, china
