I figure i should add that for a lot of people the low cash on hand would have prevented them from buying the stock knowing full well some sort of cash raise was coming.

Generally market likes certainty so you may find that there may still be good interest to buy at 4c and above now from fresh investors who now know they don't need to worry about another CR for almost 2 years.

Additional to that current and new holders can now buy with less risk and still take advantage of investing more prior to the impending news. That's if you subscribe to the notion of a huge re-rate on those impending items. Finally if there is 12m of cash being thrown had over fist at 4c it should indicate that there is serious interest and that this huge bullish run we've been on is not pure hype. the insto's/pro's wouldn't have taken a 5-10% discount if they didn't see a return. If all that money get's dumped with the shareprice trading as it is now then the S/P would crater below 4c and no one makes money.

Instead what i expect is that the pro's will pump it post announcements and trigger massive volume days at a higher price. This is where they will capitalise and look to take some profits. If you're retail you can also take advantage. Generally it's a good rule of thumb to follow what the pro money is doing. The pro money is say 4c is a screaming buy. Pretty good considering it's basically only traded above that value for a few day in the last 3-4years.
