whilst some of us here may not think this announcement is not important, I think that it IS important to the big players looking to partner with Ionic in the recycling supply chain.
I reckon that this announcement of "preliminary results" of the CO2 study is not so much for our consumption, but for the benefit of UK Govt agencies ( reviewing our grant requests AND considering other funding for Belfast), PLUS for the benefit of potential Offtake and funding partners.
It is those players for whom this Prelim Results release is directed.
Why else would IXR release a Prelim result? Particularly when the final result is due only a month away?
I think IXR needed to provide some independent result to UK Govt to satisfy them of the environmental benefits of the Belfast plant, to help establish the basis of the UK Govt providing funding for Belfast.
This positive CO2 result will help calm any "greenie" opposition, and community concerns, which usually come with any industrial development.
AND, I think IXR released this on ASX because IXR viewed it as Material, and needed to ensure that they complied with Listing Rules.
So I wonder if this Preliminary announcement is a precursor to an announcement re the Grant ????
