Wow those are some big numbers going to the government compared to what we are used to in Aus. DFS accounted for the royalty and tax rates so the post-tax IRR and NPV appear to survive the government taking their tax slice.
But the Makuutuu DFS did not account for government 15% free carry (if true) in calculating NPV and IRR, these metrics will take a hit with IXR paying for 100% capital but only getting 85% of the profits. I am sure they will account for this in DFS II (Return to MakuutuuTM)...
