There's been a lot of emotion thrown around on here from this placement to which some of it I understand and some of it puzzles me. I took some time to digest it and want to put it into perspective.

IXR at this stage of its growth needs to raise funds to get it to its ultimate goal. The amount of work happening requires a lot more additional funding than previously. We are running now several operations that require large increases in extra staff funding (and a lot of specialist staff eg. chemists), equipment and other logistical work. Not only are we proving we have the 'product' in these negotiations we are also proving we can run a professional set up and meet the needs for these potential off takers. Unfortunately to start with this is significant cash burn when the product is not currently being sold for big dollars. However if these off takers see we aren't just some junior explorer, but actually what looks to be a growing rare earth 'institution' we are going to look very attractive.

As for the raise price, yes it is a heavy discount with options. Yes retail didn't get a look in. Yes the SP is at all time lows and we will be diluted. But have a look from this angle. The placement went to 'existing shareholders' who I suspect have participated in most of the raises at much higher prices. This raise was done quick, swiftly and didn't drag on. The chairman again has committed several funds to this raise which I would assume won't be shares sold off. Time will tell if these placement shares are sold for quick profit, but the ultimate goal for long term shareholders is where will our market cap be in 1 year-10 years. When this raised money potentially gets us to commercial contacts in Belfast, Uganda, Brazil, will we look back and think I should have voted against a 1.3c $5.5m raise cash injection? What will our market cap look like when we have several solid offtake contracts in all our subsidiaries and are now thinking about scaling up because they want us to give them more? The SP will move when the big institutions/ETFs come on board when solid contracts are signed and we see dollars.

But remember OEMs don't just go willy nilly and sign any contract with any company. They want to know that you are the real deal. And what we are doing with demonstration plants, UK government funding, trials with Ford and LCM, 18 month feed to Belfast, joint ventures, mining licenses and the ability to currently fund this through people that believe in this.... We are proving we are real. Unlike many of our so called rare earth competitors.
