Not really. I'd imagine a lot of ords clients are on brokerage only accounts so no platforms etc used.
I think it's just divestment of non-core assets at a pretty reasonable price considering you can see the contraction in margins. Profits are generally higher in strong markets too. Seems astute to me.
The difference between stockbroking and more strategic or funds based financial planning is pretty large from a business standpoint.
