IFL released 240 pages this morning to digest; not everything relevant to the SP directly, a lot of accounting language, making a huge loss, turning it into an underlying profit and paying a dividend and ... and ...
To me, it appears, the underlying business is good. Fully franked dividends of 11.5 cents is good, well - for me I bought in at $3.25 six months ago. But even at current levels the div yield is ok - me thinks.
Is IFL heading into the wrong direction? No, unless something is buried in the report, and the market has found out, but not you and me. Is there some skeleton in the closet? No one on HC has brought it up. Is $4.55 too much for a share that probably pays 25 cents fully franked per year? Probably not, but debatable.
... The mysteries of Mr. Market, accounting methodologies and death by sheer amount of detail ....
