I believe IOOF is covered for damages by ANZ. From IOOF's 17 Oct 2017 investor presentation:
"• Contractual protections provided to IOOF in respect of certain pre-Completion conduct, subject to certain limitations
• Pre-Completion obligations in respect of conduct of business
• Separate obligations in respect of separation of business from ANZ and provision of transitional services by ANZ until separation is completed
• Purchase price adjusted for net assets at Completion
• Customary warranty and liability regime"
