Another way to look at IFL is to deduce how the market is pricing the components.
In the table below I have taken the market cap today at $3.20 and applied the price to the pre-acquisition IOOF and then applied it to the two cap raises that delivered what we have today.
So as original IOOF is valued at just less than $1 Billion.
The acquisition are valued at (equity component) just over $1.1 Billion.
In this table we see that the current market prices the equity raise for MLC and P&I is trading at 70% of the original price.
That is quite a discount for any overpricing of the purchases by management.
