AFR today reports in its usual inept and sensationalist way that 2b funds were ripped out of IOOF due to advisers being shown the door. Yes, but this was already foreshadowed by IOOF some months ago, and comes about as a result of more rigorous standards for FP advice adopted by IOOF following the Royal Commission. IOOF is now in a much stronger position in terms of the integrity of its business model.
