I have quite a large holding of IFL on which I am now down 45%. Also have PDL, NAB and ANZ, all of which I am down on, with MQG my own profitable financial stock. Probably not a good time to dump IFL, but as I have been watching the stocks fall in light of the RC which I had foolishly believed was going to be a tiger without claws, I wonder how much further this sector will fall and whether it is not better to cut losses and get out now. Surely when the ALP get into power and franking credits are lost the SPs will only get worse. This is a terrible time to be an investor. particularly in the financial area.
