Amen to that. The regulators will get tough for the next 3 or 5 years - then humans will be humans again, incentives will kick in, and we will be more or where we were - ie, regulators with no teeth.
That's why, I suspect no amount of increased regulation/enforcement will solve the problems in an enduring way. That's why my sense is that complete separation of product from advise, will be required.
