Forgive me for being naive, but why do so many posters think that the present predicament is permanent? The forum discussion suggests that there has been a true and permanent loss in value to the company. We have always considered that IOOF has essential value, and that it has a decent moat to withstand such problems. Just like humans, who rise and fall and rise again in their psychological stability, does one not consider that IFL will rise again, with the SP also rising?
