I agree this may be a strategy deployed from the underwriters, and it would suck in some retail investors, however due to the glut and due to the analysts not sold on the acquisition, this may not result in any benefits at all and we will see continued weakness. Also we must be aware that the institutional offer already closed and shares purchased are not allowed to be traded yet am I right here? Once they become tradeable than this just results in millions more shares to be dumped if they so desire. Long term, this acquisition has merits, I suppose it is simply how long investors are willing to hold to see any benefits at all.
