Actually this is good. For once the underwriter will be earning the millions paid to them to underwrite the SPP. normally they walk away with free money. Institutional investors bought at $3.50 and so will the underwriter. The market seems to believe IOOF overpaid for MLC. Where are the AFR articles with commentary from shareholders/instos/CEO etc? Normally if it were AMP they'd be splashing it all over the front page.
