I think a significant amount of the legal costs may have been borne by the individuals, not ioof. I don’t think ioof will just give APRA the legal costs for their incompetence. I understand the gesture, but I don’t think it’s likely, or effective use of funds.
very glad to have this out the way. If ioof had lost, it would have caused a lot of extra disruption at the top, not least of all having to find a new Cfo.
will be very interesting to see how things play out over the next month or so. This certainly gives ioof the chance to pursue onepath (I think if they lost, it would have made the transaction very difficult). Hopefully ioof get to knock off a couple of hundred mil as a bonus!
