APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR
Further to the company ASX announcement on 17 February 2014 regarding the resignation of Mr Christopher Manie as a director, Lemarne Corporation Limited advises its shareholders on its plans for a replacement director.
Under the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules, Lemarne is required to have a minimum of 3 directors on the Board, so this is a priority for compliance.
Lemarne is seeking support from its shareholders to immediately fill the vacant director position as a ‘casual vacancy’ until the upcoming Annual General Meeting (expected to be held in April after the audited accounts have been released).
For the casual vacancy, Lemarne will consider appointing a shareholder who wishes to nominate as a director, and encourages those who are interested to submit their name for consideration. Lemarne has already received a number of nominations.
