IOT has a broad definition. Pretty much I view it as anything with inter connectivity: wireless, bluetooth, gps, etc. I get your point though, its focusing on the product end of IOT rather than the technology end.
I also agree with you on not competing with the big players, though this part doesn't bother me too much, so long as its not Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi etc.. I don't feel there's anything wrong with their strategy of targeting product markets that don't have mass appeal as larger players don't bother with these.
Dilution is fine if its for a company if it is worth it, but I share your concerns. I assume and hope that each tranche this will be voted on by share holders. Maybe they are just be aiming to diversify and reduce risk for a million and buy a better relationship for Roam-e dist. And to see what comes from it. Either way, doesn't look great for the company as its an odd strategic decision.
