    Lower share price by ruining investor sentiment, also, get some cash in hand. Imagine if IDSB bought IOU? That would be hilarious. Don't forget that a proportion of IDSB's value is now inexorably tied to IOU's.

    Not necessarily, because they demonstrate a longer term capacity for good bad debt performance. Again, 1% loss on loaned funds is pretty good especially with 6-8% odd p/a return.

    Not a significant ROI but some investors prefer low risk - I mean you'd almost get an individual onboard for that, rather than an institution.

    And how big is the fully saturated market for myIOU given how risk averse they are from a credit perspective? 100 million a quarter?

    The biggest risk for myIOU is a competitor having no standards, but I feel like they're putting themselves in a situation where their operating principles are used as the template for regulation.
