@SebbyV I appreciate your comments, but do you really think this deal doesn't secure one single additional customer for their BNPL business. You really don't think IOU can incorporate customers of IDMF to their BNPL offering? I get what you're saying, but I would still think with around 35,000 loans on their books, they could convert a hefty number of those people into using BNPL. Also what's the issue with buying into someone else's profits? Companies do that all the time. If it provides a future backbone, then why not spend the money now while credit is so cheap in the market and if and when IOU needs more funds they can go to market for them, do a CR or perhaps be able to leverage through IDMF.
I like they are being aggressive. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out as we all have differing views in regards to this.
