Energy Fuels is short rare earths feedstocks, and have been chasing new supply (with no success for at least three years) to fill their Utah based processing facility
EF currently have a deal for small volumes from Chemours, which owns and operates the only titanium and rare earth mineral sands asset in the US
With the IRA Act benefits…there is significant value for Energy Fuels to source US rare earth feedstocks from TN
They would also benefit from lower transport costs (which can be very high), and reduced regulatory issues from not having to import rare earths feedstock from foreign countries.
