So you have $6k worth of shares and you'd complain if you got $1000 free shares in the new company? Thats 16% free of what your shares are currently worth and probably a much greater % of what you originally invested. No blue chips stocks even give you that kind of return.
What news were you hoping for? Good grades from the Adelong drilling? Well you're in luck those results are still coming, this was just a BONUS for holders.
How anyone can say this is not good news is beyond me, they dont have the funds to explore all assets so they're focusing on the one that has the most potential. Very smart decision I think!
