As usual the info/detail is slightly ambiguous and obscure. Does TK mean 100 patients per seven clinics meaning they get 700 patients or does he mean 100 patients spread over the seven clinics?
What he is really saying is that their first strategy re collecting data in USA from positive patients was going to take shite loads longer than they estiated...no surprises there. Now they (and good for them) have found a way to gather the data much faster than they are doing now. My money is on 700 patients (100 per each of seven clinics) rather than 100 in total otherwise he wouldn't be saying that they actually still expect to have completed the data collection by mid December. If they had joined forces with these clinics in the first place they would have done and dusted all the 1500 samples/patients long ago!
Thank goodness that in the end they look around for other ways out of the dross they first surround themselves with.
A decent BOD wouldn't get into being surrounded by dross in the first place IMHO saving a stack of time and money...Geez RAP this is testing us all. Hurry TFU!
