IR1 are using SGS. WR1 were using SGS for a long time and had similiar issues with lab turnaround times, they even tried to get SGS to set up a remote lab near site however that never eventuated. WR1 have recently moved to a new provider/s with better turnaround times of 2-4 weeks it seems.
It's been mentioned here before that SGS are reputable so a longer wait is ok however that's garbage to me. Nobody cares who does the analysis, only the turnaround time is important. IR1 should be looking at other options.
