The assay results will allow the company to assess whether they expand the open pit or move underground via the 400m extension that already exists (likely to be another reasonable capex saving).
Everything that has been delivered in recent times suggests this is NOT a small or low grade deposit.
Sometimes forget the $200m NPV is based on 15-19% of the KNOWN resource. The current drilling program will only expand the known resource. Which will eventually turn into BFS NPV.
