If FMG are hoping to bulk out other product with the IV ore then they will probably be prepared to pay a little more for the ore as it speeds up their overall time line to tonnage. The rail will be build anyway - that is their plan - so there would be little point for them to miss out on the easy easy ore to get their plans to fruition.
I just hope that RIO or BHP see it this way too and are prepared to try to force FMG to pay top dollar - say $4 a tonne in the ground (of the full 700mt DSO)...or 15 dollars a share for the full DSO suite and the magnetite thrown in for free? After all this is not much in the over scheme of the cost of mining and rail - ie they still stand to make a shed load. I may even vote yes for a scrip offer of two FMG for one IOH, after all if they get to their hundreds of millions of tonnes of ore a year and the IOH bits help that work, then it will be worth it for them.
