I've been reading several articles about the NWS starting to scramble on decisions about where the replacement gas will come from and what deals will be done, as their goldilocks fields decline. There's Scarborough gas and Browse gas and a paltry infill from Waitsia, but none of these articles address the prospect that a discovery at Ironbark-1 could be the dream outcome.
I know we could discover sweet fa, and its too early to contemplate a path to the NWS without a discovery, but this is like the $1B megadraw.
Our tickets could be worthless or the sweetest of dreams. The contrast in outcomes is unbelievably nerve-racking as we wait.
